TROPHY VAULTBY RAXX

Questions

Common questions

If yours is not here, ask us directly.

What exactly is being scanned?

We scan the antlers and the skull plate. The scan captures the shape, structure, and surface detail of the rack itself.

Does scanning damage my trophy?

No. The scanner captures the trophy using light — nothing touches the antler surface during the scan. Your trophy is handled only to position it for capture.

How accurate is the scan?

We use industrial-grade 3D scanning technology capable of accuracy down to ±0.031 mm. Every scanner is calibrated before each scan to help ensure the highest level of accuracy and consistency when capturing your trophy.

What happens to my scan after it is completed?

Your scan files are stored securely and linked to your vault account. We keep them for as long as Trophy Vault operates — nothing is deleted because it has reached a certain age, because an account has been inactive, or because of a billing question. You can ask us to delete your record at any time.

How do I access my Trophy Vault?

You sign in to your account on this site and view your trophy record there.

What happens if I lose my certificate?

Your vault record is the source of truth, not the printed certificate. Contact us about a replacement.

What does the QR code do?

Scanning the code opens the verification page for that trophy. It shows a limited set of details and never exposes your scan files.

Can I have my trophy record deleted?

Yes. You can ask us to delete a trophy record from your vault. We will email you to confirm the request, and once you confirm it we wait seven days before anything is removed, so you can change your mind. After that we delete the scan files and the details that identify you, and the Trophy ID stops appearing in your vault and on the public verification page. We keep a limited internal record that the trophy existed and was deleted.

Can my trophy be recreated from the scan?

Yes. With industrial-grade accuracy, our scans capture the fine details of your antlers — including the burrs, pedicles, beam texture, and other unique characteristics. You may choose the reproduction company of your choice. There are many well-qualified companies that produce high-quality trophy reproductions.

Can an existing mount be scanned?

Yes. Typical shoulder mounts and wall pedestals can be scanned. Just ensure we can access the antlers from all necessary angles to complete the scan.

Do I have to be a Raxx Taxidermy customer?

No. Trophy Vault is available whether or not your taxidermy work was done by Raxx.

Can another taxidermist offer Trophy Vault?

We intend to work with taxidermists rather than compete with them. Authorised locations will be able to offer Trophy Vault to their customers.

How is my information protected?

Your account is private to you. Scan files are held in private storage and are not publicly accessible.

What happens if Trophy Vault is not around in 10 or 20 years?

If Trophy Vault were ever to wind down, we would aim to give customers reasonable advance notice and a period in which to retrieve their scan files before the service closed. We cannot promise this in every circumstance — some events would not leave us the time or the means — but it is what we would work to do.
