Why vault your trophy
You already document the things that matter. Photographs of the house, receipts in a drawer, paperwork for the truck. A trophy that took years to earn deserves the same thought.
Mounts change over time
Moving and shipping
Mounts are awkward to transport and are most often damaged in transit. A record taken beforehand documents the trophy as it was.
Accidental damage
A knock, a fall, a broken tine. Antlers are more fragile than they look.
Less common, but they happen
Fire, storm, and flood
House fires, tornadoes, and flooding destroy mounts every year. A vault record is held separately from your home.
Theft
A detailed record of the trophy exists independently of the mount itself.

Documentation
Your record holds the details of the hunt alongside the scan: season, location, and the story attached to it.
Measurements
Measurements recorded at the time of scanning are kept with the record.
Preserved for reproduction
A detailed 3D scan is what any future physical reproduction or replacement would be built from. Whether a particular trophy can be reproduced, and how closely, depends on the scan and the method used — so this is something we would discuss with you rather than something we promise in advance.
A trophy is a physical thing, and physical things change. Its record does not have to.
